Hey Lukas, Yes, you can get wet especially your bottom half as you will be doing a beach launch. However, we will provide plenty gear including a wetsuit or paddle pants for that reason. We are are open year round so any time year should be fine. In regards to weather spring and summer tends to be warmer.
You get a little wet, but they provide waterproof pants and jackets that you can wear over your clothes. They also have changing rooms available. Lots of people kayak in winter Just wear layers. 🙂
