The area around Silverwood is the San Bernardino National Forest. There are many Forrest roads you can ride on.
Cleghorn rd just before 138 is off-road. And another 2 by the lake, one on dam side (have to take 173) there is an area for parking for off-road people, and fisherman. Has a fire/dam access road go straight to lake, rocky area. Small cove at bottom. Some spots to walk to mostly on right for fishing depending on water level, can also go left. Second site close to lake is on right had side as you drive up/in. Vista point is on lake side few hundred yards up if you need a spot reference. On hwy138 There are more in the area, thats just what i know of.
Right before you get on 138 from the 15 I've seen a convoy of jeeps and off road vehicles heading into a trial. But I have not seen anyone riding atv at the lake or around it.
