Yes you can swim in the lake. There are 2 designated beach areas that are normally staffed with lifeguards.
Yes you can swim in two area roped off. Lot 6 on Cleghorn side and next to Marina area. They had some issues with algae levels but that has been delt with last year. And leeches in other parts of the lake that you can access by boat/long hike. Again, last year. And those are different from swimming areas. The people in booth can tell you what areas. Website has map to reference to. Lifeguards not always on duty.
