Like Michelle P says bring sunscreen and also a fold up chair or blanket for the grass they have you wait on if you go to the dmv web site and they don't accept your new appointment and remember to also free up a few hours for the wait and charge your cell phone, maybe pack a lunch it's ridiculous. Oh yeah they cut the line off at 4:30pm unlike their listed closing hours at 5pm so get their early!
Just go to DMV website and follow the steps .
I don't think you can make an appointment at this time. I think you have to just go and wait in line. You might want to bring sunscreen if you burn easily since the line is all outside
