If my vehicle needed a smog to renew my registration and I have the Certificate stating that the vehicle passed can I renew my registration at AAA since the smog certificate is sent to the DMV electronically from the smog place?

I am not certain about scanning the certificate at the AAA DMV Kiosk. I was able to scan all docs and my AAA Roadside membership, I got my renewal certificate and sticker, 2021/2022 at the AAA Office in Santa Cruz.
