Our last trip, we were waiting to be picked up by the flyaway @ LAX, The bus pulled up, completely empty, the bus driver got out, opened up the storage area for our suitcases, we all approached to release our suitcases to him. The bus driver then proceeded to close the storage area. Climbed back in the bus and drove away, just leaving all of us standing there. It was puzzling. No communication or explanation was given.
You have to walk to the stop for the specific bus. You can call them too from your ticket
Unfortunately United is at the end of the airport and on busy days this can happen. My solution was to walk over to terminal 1 and catch the bus there.
