Went as a walk in, total time was 1.5 hours. Zuzu helped us, she was professional, helpful and friendly. Great experience!

Doors open at 930 on Friday’s. We arrived at 830 to get in line. About 20 people were ahead of us. We had our paperwork and payment ready. They took our passport picture and accepted debit card for payment. We were out of there by 1015. 🌻

. We went at 7am to the walk up after my appt for Monday was cancelled due to no agents (different location) . I made sure I had everything ready. Was done by 11am for 3 of us. They workers went through the walk ins and if you weren't 100% ready they skipped you. Can't believe how many people weren't prepared. So many people were on their 3-4th time there because they showed up later in day. Show up early. I would imagine Tuesdays would be busier, ours was a Thursday. Aja (postal worker) was so patient and great!

If you go without an appointment expect to be there all day. If line is around the building I would honestly not even bother staying you will wait just for them to tell you they cannot help you. If you want to be helped I would suggest camping out some people got there at 5 AM and still waited about two hours when Office opened. As for me I got there at 6:45am and didn’t leave until 1 PM , so make sure to plan ahead. when I went we did have a lady come out and notify everyone that if you didn’t have specific documents don’t even bother waiting they will not help you. The workers are doing the best they can but I can see them get overwhelmed by the multitude of people waiting. Best advise would be To plan ahead take food, drinks and just be patient .

The person processing your paperwork takes the picture so it's available during the same time as their normal processing.
Now day's you need to make an appointment before you go they don't accept any walk-ons.
You can fill out the form online print it bring it in with your old passport I think it's about 175 just make sure you don't sign the form unless you're there
Your picture is taken in the same place once the you the agent reviews a d approves the required documentsr

Adult Passport Card: Application fee is$30.00 and execution fee is $35.00. Together, an adult passport card is$65.00. Add $60.00 more if you choose expedited service.
It's better to bring your old passport/card together with your application to get a new one. Hopefully your old passport/card were not misplaced in the process. Good luck.
Yes. They're open Tuesday through Saturday ( closed Sunday and Monday)
Take a pic and photo copy of your passport/card and save it. These become part of your documentation in case you lose the originals. USPS Passport Services web has all the required docs/fees you need to bring to get a passport/card. Make an appointment online - its the best way to do it , no long lines.
There are no such days. It's always crowded here.
Yes they do, but reach very early in the morning.... they consider walkins only once no other appointments are present, so takes a few hours with a few walkins accommodated every hour
There's no way to renew it without sending old one
For new born Baby, birth certificate, parents identity and address proof are required.
You have to be there in person. And you don't to make an appointment just go early in the morning. That's what I did
Fingerprinting can be done at this location
USPS is only taking reservations at this time. You can make your reservation by going to their website USPS.com
Hello.. No.. You have to send the application by mail. Go to a post office, ask for the required form, and the information about the fees, what to send, and where to send it.
Its only by appointments.
They asked you have a appointment. I said no, but the web said walk in
Either way. I was surprised they were able to take fotos.
Yes
3 to 4 months, but if you like to expedite quick up to 6 weeks extra charge $60.00
I would print out original color just in case...or stop by the office and pick them up
I'd needs to be current
6-8 weeks unless you expedite it for an additional fee. Depending on urgency you can show proof of like an airline ticket for a trip coming soon and they can try to make it work. Otherwise expedited it's 2-3 weeks. They mail it to you. The passports aren't actually made there. Just the paperwork.
Will they take your picture for a new passport or renewing the passport
No need.
Yes but according to the one lady(worker) I overheard its the busiest day. They only have 2 people on staff til 10.
They have over night service
Yes
I got mine renewed and paid $110 plus $105 processing fee... expensive... i should have go to L.A. cheaper
No, Van Nuys or Glendale
Yes you can. I would recommend you make an appointment at a different site where they go by appointment. The line is crazy long here, both times I've been there it's taken me 3-4 hours. Once you make it through the first line, you wait again inside till they call your number.
I think it's free if you already have a passport. You just have to have proof of the change ot correction, like marriage certificate or, state ID
Walk in only
Question is too broad? How long would what take? The line, the passport processing, the amount of time for you to receive your passport once you go though the whole process? If you elaborate your question I would be more than glad to answer.
If the passport is for a person over the age of 18 you will need your old passport your California driver's license or ID social security number one picture and you need a copy of your driver's license or ID front and back if the renewal is a 16-17 year old you will need one parent your old passport one picture social security number and copy front and back of the parents ID or driver's license if the passport is for under 16 years old you will need to have two parents the child old passports at least a copy of the birth certificate one picture social security number and you need copies of birth certificate and parents front and back IDs everyone that is applying for a passport needs to be present
Yes. They are 15 dollars.
Photos are $15 for 2 pics only

I agree! Takes 2-4 hours total, depending on how many people ahead of you, how many people working inside, phase of the moon, etc. Helps if you have all your paperwork filled outand, and all the items they ask for. I had my paperwork approved from the day before and, it still took 2.5 hours of waiting and processing time.
From open to close. You can walk in all day. No appointments necessary. I believe you can not make appointments either
They do take the passport photos at the post office but it's better to go to the Costco on Sepulveda between Victory and Oxnard. Its only 4 or 5 dollars there. And u do not need a Costco Card to get the photos there.
Open 8am to 6pm M-F And 9am to 5pm Sat. Closed on Sundays
You don't say the age of the kid...but for under 16yrs..birth certificate, social security number both parents have to be present with child and parents need a valid government issued ID like a drivers license, regular ID,passport or matricula consular now if the child already had a passport bring it with you also
This facility does not take appointments, best to go a little bit early so that you can be one of the first people in line sometimes lines form sometimes not. But general rule best to get there early rather than late.
Dido. What Irene said. They are helpful but u must be ready. I also suggest getting your passport photo from somewhere else cause there it's way more expensive.
Yes they except cash, check, money orders, cashier check, and Credit Card.
I'm assuming on Saturdays. I went during the week and they were done handing out numbers for passports by 4pm so I ended up going on a Saturday, thought they opened like 9am so I showed up by 8 and the line was not that bad, I think they open earlier. But I was in and out in 3 hours. To be honest it was not bad for a government office...from the time your in line the personnel start checking if you have everything you need; ie: passport form filled out, IDs required, birth certificates, copies of anything you might need.
