Do I purchase a ticket at LAX to get on the bus to Van Nuys and where do I catch the bus?

You catch the bus at LAX and pay when get off the bus at flyaway terminal 9 dlls, with credit card only.

The Fly away Buses signs at LAX are green above the 2nd island. Look up and keep walking on the island until you see the green sign. The bus itself will display Van Nuys. Other Fly away Buses show signs to other destinations.

Agreed. No $ or tickets change hands until passengers arrive at the Van Nuys terminal from LAX. There is no "Van Nuys" sign at the airport; look for the "Flyaway Busses" sign and wait there fir your bus to Van Nuys (bus displays that marquee clearly). I believe the "Flyaway Busses" sign is green.

The ticket booths are outside the arrival terminals. You will see bus stop signs that say Flyaway. Make sure the stop you are at says Van Nuys.

There is a bus stop on the middle of the road where the buses stop, and you go on the bus and pay on van Nuys terminal.
