Joan, good luck on getting an answer to your question. I think your best bet for a solid answer would be to get ahold of a flooring contractor or a good general contractor. The questions prosed on here are mainly about the store, or location and what products they might offer etc. Not necessarily how to use or what to use. Believe it or not but you might try YouTube. I would maybe start with a "install sound proofing". My husband, who can fix just about anything has learned a lot on there. Good luck with your search.
It's best to ask an employee from electronics and building materials to help you out. You could also give them a call a head of time for my questions you have or also the pro desk Department in helping you out and guiding you in the right direction
