When I was at the Bellanca location recently, there was a sign on the counter that said they would gladly accept bank cards if you could show proof of round trip airfare. So, I was visiting from TN and because I had proof that I was returning to TN in a few days I could use a bank card. However, when you use a bankcard they also withdraw money at that time for a deposit. I can't remember for sure what the amount was. I think the agent said 20% of the estimated rental or maybe it was $100 I dont really remember but this is an additional fee that is released back to your bankcard when you return the car (or just applied to your total owed when you return the car). You avoid this fee when you use a credit card. I recommend checking with the specific enterprise you plan to rent from though. Apparently different states and maybe even different locations have different rules because I have rented from an enterprise in my home state before and had never heard of the proof of airfare thing.
Credit card
debit cards are accepted
Yes
I saw a sign saying debit cards are acceptable but you should confirm with Enterprise.
