I personally have not seen nor heard any such animals, but my camp mates have said they heard some coyotes lurking about. My brother frequents this camp and he's not encountered bears or mountain lions, but he has apparently seen a fox in the middle of the night.
Like with everything else you always must be aware. I would think the biggest thing around be a coyote. Knowing that Stone Creek is so close to the highway, you should be okay from bigger predators like a bear or mountain lion. I believe that popular locations usually attract more animals because tourist tend to leave lots of goodies with stinky smells that attracts those unwanted guest(s)
