We were there yesterday and the pond is closed and the parking lot as are bathrooms. There's trails open.
Thousand Palms Oasis Preserve, 880 acres within the greater Coachella Valley Preserve system, is currently open Wednesday through Sunday 7 am to 5 pm. The Preserve is closed Monday and Tuesday. This means there is no access to the property, oasis, or its trails — McCallum, Smoke Tree, and Squaw Hill, OR the trails that extend trough the Preserve — Moon Country and Herman’s Hike on Mondays and Tuesdays. Holiday hours remain the same - if a holiday falls on a Wednesday through Sunday, the Preserve and trails are open - if a holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday, the Preserve and trails are closed. Please note, however, that the parking lot, visitor center, restrooms, and Simone Pond remain closed. Dogs and other pets, including emotional support and comfort animals are prohibited. Only service dogs trained to perform a specific task to assist with a disability are welcome. Thousand Palms Oasis Preserve is owned by Center for Natural Lands Management.
McCallum Grove is closed along with parking lot and bathrooms, but all else is open
