Yes the fee i believe is a suggested donation. Some of the guys I went with were to "cheap" to donate $10 to the hard-working veterans that work for free at the place restoring the equipment. goes to a good cause and you get a great guided tour with a veteran that served this country for a us all..
We ask for a $10 donation for each adult, $5 for children between 10 - 18, and $3 for children between 6 - 9. Children under 6 and active military are free. We are a nonprofit intirely funded by donations. Our entire museum is run by volunteers who are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and experience with you and your family. We rely heavely on your support and we thank you for taking the time to come to our museum.
I worked with some of the veterans that give the tours. Nicest people, I would suggest donating 20 per person.. But if you are a single parent just go and enjoy for free..
