Are there ticks?

I never saw a tick but there sadly is poison oak.

I hike the area a lot and neither me or my dog has ever licked up one. Ticks are rare in redwwods...

There are ticks. They mostly stay up in the trees and can get nocked down during the rain. I've lived here for 6 years and have only had one on me.

Haven't seen any ticks, but I'm sure they're there. Get some permethrin, and be careful applying it around cats.

I was there a week ago and saw none. Wear long pants, bugspray and avoid tall grass.

I've been there many times & never had any tick issue but like most outdoor spots they are always a risk.

There can be in most of California.
