There are ticks. They mostly stay up in the trees and can get nocked down during the rain. I've lived here for 6 years and have only had one on me.

Haven't seen any ticks, but I'm sure they're there. Get some permethrin, and be careful applying it around cats.

I've been there many times & never had any tick issue but like most outdoor spots they are always a risk.
