U go and do detox which aint bad a place to sleep and eat and know your safe! After three days they expect u to come out of room iF they have speakers come in other wise you are free to stay in ur room ! Then 4th-5th day when you can sleep anymore and are ready to face the reason you came there you set up a time to speak w staff/get a evaluation done then you are placed on a wait list till they have a bed for you!! Last time i had to wait 3weeks ((on the streets )) till I was called w my intake date you can do it dereck
The Salvation Army also has a free treatment program and they've always had immediate placement available. The address to the men's treatment facility is 2525 Dodge St. You should be able to just walk in and get a bed immediately.
Im already on the list and struggling with addiction during the wait. Will detox bump my name up?
