I am on a knitting frenzy and have quite a few acrylic yarn scarves. Are these something that would be appreciated at this shelter, or is there one you could suggest I donate them to? Thank you.

If U give them 2 staff, they will probably stick them in donations area, which those in the shelter don't have ready access to those items, however if U'r outside in car, either near shelter or up near the plant mall & give them out, that would work better, then U know they have gotten them & with the weather changing, I'd already be using my scarf my mum had knit me, however whilst I was still in residence of southall shelter, over a month b4 it was closed, some punks from home first without my knowlage, nor consent stole my belongings from out their storage lock up, umongst them my scatf, laptop, digital camera, grandparents photos, art supplies, paintings ( commissioned works in progress) kitchen items, clothes, I only found out over a month later that irreplaceable items taken by home first personal when southhall closed & I was moved 2 other home first shelter, all staff would say was it came from HR order 2 steal my property #noexcuse

Sure they'll take them. But they only give them out to people who ask for them. You could stand there and offer them to people and the ones that want them will get them.
