You say the store and online is a different entity, but both have issues regardless. Store never answers the phone. You go in person, they don’t have much of an answer. Regardless, I’ve discovered purchasing from Ashley should be your last resort. Items get delivered broken, so you still wait for months to see what you paid for. Yes, employees are great but company can’t deliver. When delivery becomes available, you’ll receive a million text messages to confirm delivery, and finally they ask you to call to confirm before they cancel the delivery. Nothing is sync. For my family, and friends, I recommend you use other furnishing company like Lazy-boy, Living Spaces, Arhuas, etc. I purchased from Arhaus 20 days after I ordered from Ashley, and I received my Arhaus delivery before Ashley! When you work with a company that say’s “we are two different entities” good luck because one entity blames the other entity and nothing gets done.
All you have to do to see you Call of Duty of the furniture is really bad as to look underneath it you'll see there's no spider cloth that they used to put on the bottom of a couch or chair or whatever and you see the construction work that they do on these things is just absolutely horrible. I think my five-year-old could do better. Doesn't matter if you buy online or in the store the salesman or shysters I've been in sales all my life and they actually forged my signature and stole $200 from me and I got nothing for it. Saying I said I was going to buy the set of furniture the night before and I never did I thought I was going to get my wife and never come down and look at it and I looked underneath it and I also no no no no no just a box with some material on it so whether it's online or in the store you're going to get a terrible deal and sales people are just complete shysters and I say that having been in the business on my life. I am so ashamed of people like this. Salesmen bad
