One bag/backpack on top and your suitcase on the bottom, (they charge the 2nd and up)
extras are $15 per trip
Actually you can bring a backpack or equivalent size bag inside the bus as well as a secondary bag like a briefcase or computer bag it could also be a very small suitcase that can be brought onto the bus. Your suitcase that goes under the bus cannot weigh more than 50 pounds if you put more than one bag under the bus you will be charged, but you can bring two bags onto the bus as stated above - these people that are saying you can only bring one bag up on top obviously have not used Greyhound that often. But the last 24 months I say I am logged at least 20000 miles across 10 Western States. You can bring two bags on the bus one bag can be checked underneath free for a total of 3 items. The two items you bring on the bus must be small like a backpack and the computer briefcase
