I hired California CareGivers to assist with my elderly and disabled parents after my stepmom had emergency surgery in October 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. They were prompt, helpful, and clear throughout the process of setting up the service (during a very stressful situation). They were equally wonderful with schedule adjustments and changes as we figured out a care schedule that worked best for my parents' needs, which often changed from week to week. I also cannot praise enough Susan, the wonderful, thoughtful, and reliable caregiver that they paired with my folks. She took the necessary precautions to prevent the risk of Covid infection and spread while working in my parents' home. Overall, I think California CareGivers is very well run and organized and a good way for my elderly and disabled parents to get the assistance they need while keeping them out of a nursing home or assisted living facility during this pandemic.

What makes California CareGiver's the choice of many families since 2012 is that we are a locally owned, family run business. Which means we aren't another corporate business without local representation. We actually care about our clients and their families. If there are any issues that can't be resolved by our office staff there aren't many layers to get to the owners of our business. One of our owners is a Registered Nurse who trains all of our caregivers and oversees all of our clients which means our clients get the added value in the form of a trained pair of medical eyes to oversee our clients which other companies won't have because you don't need a Registered Nurse to run an In-Home Care company. California CareGivers does take Worker's comp or Worker's compensation insurance as payment. We have the ability to direct bill providers such as Corlife and Orchid Medical.
Yes, all of our caregivers go through a DOJ/FBI fingerprint background check and are consequently registered with the State of California. All of our caregivers live in the service areas such as Stockton, Lodi, Woodbridge, Galt and surrounding areas including Sacramento.
All the caregivers on our team that help with clients who suffer from Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Stroke, ALS or clients who are recovering from a fall or surgery are our own employees. That means all of our employees are covered by our worker's comp insurance and are bonded.
