How often do I need to get my dog vaccinated for rabies? Do I need to bring in my dog to update license?

I believe it is every 3-5 years. The last one I just got my dog is for 5 years.

The first rabies vaccination is good for one year. The second rabies vaccination is a booster and is good for 3 years. You don't need to bring your dog in to purchase a license, just bring the vaccination record. You may purchase a dog license that is valid until the rabies vaccination expires. You may also download a license form from our website and mail it in with a check and a copy of the vaccination record. We take credit card or cash if you come in person to Haven Humane. There are also several other locations where you can purchase a license. They are listed on our website.

You are supposed to get your dog vaccinated for rabies, then one year later and after the second one it is every 3 years. You then take the vaccination records in to get the dog license. You don't have to take the dog with you. I hope this helps.
