No, we do not take in owned pets unless they were adopted from Haven originally. The reason is we are caring for and housing hundreds of animals that don't have a place to live. Your pet is lucky enough to have a home right now. We ask that you find another home for your pet without using the shelter. There are several resources you can use. One is www.adoptapet.com/rehome, another is Facebook page 530pets, craigslist.com/pets, nextdoor.com, etc. Good luck and I'm sorry that you can no longer keep your pet.

Yes absolutely, Havens Humane Society is a NO KILL Animal Shelter. I don't know if they require a fee for bring in your pet. You should call them for this and any other questions you may have. They are kind people and do not critisize for your decision you make for your pets.
Yes but they will charge a fee if the animal belongs to you. They are a no kill shelter so they will only put an animal down if it has a disease that can be harmful to the other animals.
