IMAX and the Showcase "Lux" seatings are two different things.
I went to IMAX theatre and the cost of the tickets for seniors was not brought to my attention until I asked about it. They seemed to want to keep my ticket as a regular adult price. The seats were comfortable. However, they were all assigned seating so if you sat in the wrong seat in error, then you had to get up and move in the middle of the movie. Not a good policy in my opinion.
Imax is always been set up that way because of the speakers in the seats and vibration
