They should have given you a full set of instructions prior to your appointment it's NPO past midnight meaning nothing post orally or basically eating anything after midnight call drinking in some cases except little sips of water. Also they will be some type of contrast administered either orally or intravenously. I hope this helps.

For that procedure you can't eat or drink anything after midnight. If you're on medications they'll probably tell you to check with them to see which ones are okay to take.
