Fenway was the main place I was told about for hormone therapy. Needless to say, I'm beyond dissapointed. At first Julian Dormitzer and her team were wonderful, but as the months went by, the level of care went way downhill. It's a constant wild goosechase to get my medication refilled to the point where I often have to go weeks before they bother to contact my pharmacy. To my fellow trans people, steer clear, it's not worth your time.

COVID has decimated the quality of care here. It gets worse with every passing month. Their staff are stretched impossibly thin and they cannot coordinate even the most basic requests. I've been waiting a month for a simple specialist referral to be sent. Refills are a similar ordeal. Doctors are too exhausted to pay attention to you or care about you. If you need anything from anyone at Fenway, no matter how minor or trivial, you had better be prepared to take at least an hour off work, every day for a week, calling and begging them for whatever it is you need.

Fenway Health and Jimmy Kamel NP have given me a sound foundation from which to recover from multiple ailments. I receive a level of care that is indescribable. I have a provider that is available, invested and interested. I can honestly say Jimmy has saved my life. I cannot thank Fenway Health enough, from the bottom of my heart thank you.

I absolutely love Fenway Health. I’ve been a patient of Fenway Health for over 10 years. I’ve been to both the South End and Fenway location numerous times. They are always doing everything possible to keep their properties clean, safe, welcoming and updated. Even on days where they don’t have any appointments available, they’ve gone to great lengths to service me as a patient and ensure I do get seen by someone, even if it has to be virtually. My PCP at Fenway is Dr. Jennifer Reske-Nelson and I’ve never had a doctor prior to her that has cared so deeply for my personal mental, emotional, and physical health and well being. She asks a lot of questions, always conducts all necessary testing, and doesn’t just give out prescriptions and send me on my way (as many physicians do, unfortunately). I’ve always felt very well taken care of by any Fenway doctors I’ve seen. If I ever need an ultrasound or CAT scan, they send me down the street to Beth Israel and it’s always been seamless. If you wanted to be treated like a real human and not just a number or a health care plan, I highly recommend seeking medical care at Fenway Health. They are the best in and around the city.

Fenway Health is the most amazing health care I have ever experienced. And yes they do have dental however you may want to double check on availability because of previous COVID-19 Restrictions. They actually treat you like you are a person, no bullsh**. And they truly are committed to health care for all. And say "Health Care is a RIGHT, NOT a privilege!" I wouldn't trust anyone else with my health issues.

That would be the case managers that work at Fenway to help with that.

do they have parking?

They don't, but there are metered spaces a short walk away. If that fails, several parking garages can help you but will cost a lot. I like to take the bus when I can, but when I drive my meter-finding rate is about 70%.

I can’t think of any specifically right now but Fenway Health (Boylston st) has a trans support group every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6pm....you could also try finding supportive/friend groups on sites like Twitter, they *are* there.

There’s a parking garage under the Target across the street! There’s also some parking near the Fenway T stop if you’re willing to walk 5 minutes or so..
