Chianti has great food. If you forget to make a reservation, The Indo often has seats at the bar and if you like japanese, Kame is excellent.
Chiantis across street make a reservation. Actually any restaurant make a reservation though. For off the beaten track Alma's is really good and different. And not as expensive.
Big fan of Barrel house
Barrel House is a favorite of mine for excellent cocktails. The Indo is a nice Irish pub nearby for standard pub food. A&B burgers is a bit further down the road but I have had two terrible experiences with the service there, so I can't recommend it.
Chianti's across the street is perfect. Wonderful appetizers to share & drafts.
A&B Burgers. Semi casual gourmet burgers. Hornet pricing also. Allow a LOT of time to be served
Fibber McGee's is a great bar / restaurant with very nice people to deal with... about 1/4 mile on same street... towards Salem
Try emerald eye, tai restaurant down the street, amazing food.
EJ Cabot's is a great casual place with good food at a good price, Chianti is also very good, but a little more expensive.
Sohma's is good, but you likely need reservations. Their pizza is very good, and can be eaten at the bar or a high top table next to the bar.
A&B Burgers as a nice little atmosphere and the food is great
There are a few restaurants on cabot st. all good places Tartine Cabot Street vegetarian food . La Victoria Mexican Street Food. A&B burger. EJ Cabots Chianti's Soma rapture Papa Gino's they have some pretty good stuff
Chianti, EJ cabot both on same block as Cabot theater. Mandrake and Soma very close too. Many other more casual choices too like pizza and subs.
