I have a 2 and a half year old pitbull that was left behind by the owner yesterday because they had to go overseas. It is a male, he is up to date with all his shots and is neutered. He gets along well with other dogs and children. Will they accept?

All answers above are correct. I helped my son rehome his pit bull,Bella. She finally is in a loving home with 2 other pit bull buddies :) I would contact the PIT BULL RESCUES sites, Sophie's Circle, Veterinarian businesses, pet swap sites (only those that are credible)...Praying he gets a furever home sweet home ASAP, remember THEY,too have feelings...of abandonment, depression, anxiety. Give him all the love energy he needs to adjust! Good luck,Bless you!!☆♡☆

Yes they will and the person talking about the surrender is correct. Hopefully it doesnt get to that point..

What you have to do is sign the surrender and then there's another paper to sign that they can't find him a home you're giving authorization could be put to sleep if they can't find him a home in certain amount of days

I believe so. I can't say yes for sure. I think that if they have room for another they will. I know for a fact that they take pitbulls because most of the majority of the big dogs are pitbulls that they adopt out I personally would call to make sure they have room before you drive all the way there they open at 10 a.m.
