Mike is very knowledgeable. The facility is spotless and the GSD's are very well cared for. The puppies are socialized and our male has the best temperament of any dog we have ever owned. He is almost a year now and is well over 100lb just like his grandfather. He is healthy with absolutely no medical issues. We have had him trained extensively as all GSD's have to be. Mike's breeding program is excellent. He is keeping with his mission to preserve the breed. The bloodlines of his GSD's are outstanding. He will only sell dogs to homes where they will be a member of the family and we highly respect this. Our GSD is definitely a huge part of our family. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is our Shepherd is almost a year and we still have not received his AKC papers. I have contacted Mike multiple times and I am still not getting a response. This concerns me due to the high cost of the dog and our contract stating he is AKC registered and we would receive his papers. A year seems an excessive period of time. I would highly recommend him to others as long as you are willing to wait a long time for papers.

I got my black GSD puppy from Mike February 13, 2020. When I went there to pick my boy up, I was amazed with the amount of land Mike has. The dogs are living their best lives! Mike constantly upgrades the living conditions for the dogs for the better and I’ve seen it. He took me around to show me where he holds his adults and puppies, and they have a lot of space! My pup is healthy as he can be! Mike always does everything what’s best for the doggos, and I’m very happy that I got to experience that. Now my pooch is 5 months and he’s growing way too fast! I will definitely come back to get another puppy from him and every time someone compliments my pup, I always give Mike a shout out!

I have been talking to mike for a few months before i went and got my two pups from him he was very patient due to the fact that i was moving. Once i got into my new house i set a time and day and went to get my new family members . There amazing dogs there brother and sister . If you are looking for an amazing gsd then call mike you will not EVER be disappointed the quality of his gsd is the best I have ever seen. I work with animals ever day. Trust me the one stars reviews do not know what there talking about when it comes to gsd. I have them since I was 18 and they come in all colours of the rainbow. But thing is get your dog TRAINED!! I will only ever do business with him and he his a passion for his animals like non other !

I highly recommend Shepherd's Meadow. My husband and I recently purchased a puppy from Mike. I cannot say enough about Mike and his dogs. I'm a certified dog trainer so I know what to expect when bringing home a puppy, and I have to say, I wasn't expecting what I got. I was expecting a typical puppy with typical rambunctious puppy behavior. What I got instead was a super socialized puppy who was very attentive and focused. I am truly amazed by how social he was. It's very apparent that Mike puts a lot of time and love into his puppies. These puppies were obviously handled a lot and exposed to many different things. Puppies just don't come that way! In the dog training world, socialization is at the heart of everything. You cannot have a well adjusted and balanced dog without proper early socialization.
