I was in a similar situation when i purchased my car there. All i needed was a thousand down for the car a got. Your down payment could be lower depending on the car you get. They do allow you to put money down to hold a car if you don't have total down payment. I think they allow you two weeks to come up with the money. Hope this was helpful. I had an excellent experience at drive time. I didn't have money for down payment but they took my old car in for the deposit. If your job it's good you'll be fine. You have to make a certain amount. I love my job but isn't a high paying job and was still approved. Good luck
