My friend has a full breed Yorkey she does want to take care of anymore. He is 6 month's old. She has all the papers for the dog. Is there a fee for giving the shelter this dog.

Shelters are overcrowded right now. Owner surrendered dogs may be killed faster for space. There is a fee that is collected. Please go online to find a Yorkie Rescue.
