Do you guys accept volunteers for volunteer hours ?

When I volunteered there you needed to be an adult to register and it’s a thorough process including background check and classes before you can volunteer. They are terrific people!

Yes, they do but you will have to go directly to the shelter and ask someone at the front counter to give you an application to fill out. After you fill out the application turn it in and they are supposed to tell you when they will have the orientation for all the new volunteers or you can ask them yourself when the orientation will take place so you can be ready. They might also require you to where a special uniform just like LA animal services does. If you work for them you have to wear a navy blue shirt with their logo. As a general rule, they usually need volunteers to do laundry, wash the bowls and litter boxes, unfold newspaper to line the crates, and clean the barn, as well as walk dogs.
