Right, 1600. I prefer the front row of the balcony. The acoustics are great, it was built as Charlie Chaplin's Vaudville theater before amplification.
1600 seats, according to their website. Main floor and upper mezzanine level. The ticket website is awesome, you can actually click on the seats you're interested in buying and it will show you an (almost very accurate) image of the view of the (empty) stage from those seats! (Such a great feature for a ticketing website!) I haven't sat upstairs before, but I'd say there's not a bad seat in the house (unless there happens to be a giant with an 18" wide head sitting in front of you! 😉). I'm average height and I sat near far left aisle only a few rows from the back and still had a great view of a live performance.
1,600 according to their website.
Don't know the amount of seats, but it's definitely a large (and beautiful) theatre. Their website may have more info regarding the # of seats, or I'd look at the seating chart for a current or future show there, and you might be able to guesstimate it.
