I am here with my dog 6am park opens?? Sat 4.7 no one to open the gates here and park is closed 6:15 had to leave. Disappointed. Not many options in this part of city to bring pets. I am from San Diego on vacation. Bummer!

Nearest to downtown would be embarcadero, there is a park close with a grassy open area, but small parks will mostly be gated to prevent homelessness at early hours

Uuummm yeah this is NOT white San Diego. ..I have been there. Walk the streets or a big park like Golden gate.

Downtown sf isnt pet kid or even pedestrian friendly. Embarcedero as mentioned is your best bet for 6am. All SoMA parks closed overnight to prevent homeless.

Golden Gate Park is a good option for dogs also the Embarcadero and that's closer to us
