At the Lowe's store in San Jose, I recently asked to speak to a manager about my problem with an online order and I was surprised that even the assistant manager was empowered to solve my problem. He told me that Lowe's new CEO is very oriented towards customer satisfaction and that they as managers have the authority to resolve difficult issues. I would try a phone call asking for an assistant manager and ask him/her to fix your issue.

. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase or in your case gift simply return  the merchandise to any Lowe's store in the US within 90 days. They can repair it, replace it in California on gifts you got until the end of the season to return 12/31 is your last day
