Potentially, depending on how much snow there is. If the snow is fresh and there is a substantial amount, then yes, expect needing chains or 4WD. If its not actively snowing and has been more than 12 hours since major snowfall, then the roads should be cleared and chains are usually not required.

No chains yet. You don't see any snow on the roads. You have to take the chairlift up just to see a minor amount of snow.

It's too early to say, once you see the top full of snow then be prepared to have one just in case. For now the roads are pretty much navigable with out chains.
