Customer service was horrible! The staffer had a sparky attitude and it almost ruined the whole experience of coming up there. There was no food until I guess noon, but it was off putting that the lady never mentioned she ran out of food when i asked for a menu as I look and see people sitting in and outside eating food. I had to ask the customers where they ordered their food for for them to tell me they believe they ordered the last sandwiches. Communication is key. When I asked for a menu she could've said we have menus but I just ran out of food. But her response was I don't have food! Just very off putting!

Get your body fuel here and then make it to the top. You may also want a snack on the way down. Pictures are worth a 1000 words, but seeing it live, that is the best

We've lived below Mount Baldy for 35 years. We've played in the snow at the base so many times I can't count. This was our first time riding the lift up to the "Top of the Notch". The tritip sandwiches were boxed but they were were good with three cuts of tritip. The sloping grounds were flat. You can look off the other side toward Victorville. Getting on and off the lift is easy. Especially since our operator has been there since the beginning. Back when the first chair lift was a Conestoga Wagon and a mule they finally retired to stud last year. I'm still fact-checking that.

Grab a beer up here. Great view.

It's about a 3 mile hike along a road. Use groupon to find lift coupons. Also call to get the hours because somedays their open longer then the schedule. Full moon weekends the lift operates until 10pm
Yes. But very limited menu. TRI tip sandwich plate is about it.
I was there yesterday. No snow or ice yet. Its high altitude, be prepared for anything! ...especially cold and really windy. ...mornings are often calm and usually you are above the clouds but the weather can change in a moment up there! ...always check the mt. Baldy ski lifts website for lift status as often weather holds impact operation.
Yes
Yes but from faucet
Yes. They have weddings there. Typically when it's warm.
They have a menu to order from
When there is snow, most likely, but the Notch is wonderful to visit any time of year. Also, in case it wasn't already clear, you can't actually drive up to the notch. You park at Manker Flats or at the bottom of the ski lifts and then either hike up (about 3-3.5 miles on dirt road) or take the ski lift up (about 15-20 minutes IIRC, check the website for cost).
Tent cabins are only available Friday and Saturday nights and only during the warmer part of the year (late Spring through early Fall). Currently, tent cabin rentals are over for the year.
Look into Groupon, sometimes they have promotions..
That depends on the time of year that you go on the hike. When I went it was about 70 degrees but again that on the time of year that you go.
There is a parking area at the base, but you have to take the ski lifts to the restaurant. There is a dirt road that goes to the restaurant, but its closed to public vehicles. Alternative to the ski lift is to hike there.
