Thank you to the previous two posters for providing accurate information. Hailey, although we are a low-barrier shelter and do not require any form of identification for entry, we are currently not accepting new intakes of individuals. If you are part of a family in need of shelter, please do visit our website and contact Sheryl, as suggested below. Feel free to call 785-832-8864 M-F for more information. https://www.lawrenceshelter.org/family-program/

Lawrence community shelter isn't currently accepting clients. Most places you need photo ID to get in. I'd try Topeka rescue mission.

If you have a Birth Certificate you should be able to get photo ID easily, especially with mail (ideally a bill). The BC is usually the hard part. A bit late but may still pertain to others.
