Large museum took us several hours to walk through. This was my second time and it was just as nice as the first. I would recommend starting on the bottom floor and making your way up. All was very interesting although if you do not have children the area above the main entrance is very skippable. My favorite is the top floor. I believe admission was $4 for children and $7 for adults which is a “donation” so I’m not sure if it’s required or not to be honest. Overall a great way to spend a day.

So I make it a point to visit every single museum that has fossils - no matter what I'm in town for, I have to make time for it. This one was small but it has a lot packed into every exhibit - there's a lot to read and learn about - i loved it

I have some prehistoric bones my son and I have collected for several years. Is there some place we can bring these to have them looked at? Thank you ahead of time.

I dont believe many, if any, of the students they have tending the museum will be able to identify your fossils, but I am fairly sure if you asked the correct department or individual you could get your answers, as academics love questions and curiosity.
