Can i take pictures just at the side of the cars? Not touching them but just near enough... Or do i have to take pictures outside a restricted perimeter by each car?

As above as long as you are not in the vault you will be able to get great pictures

Regular exhibits ok to take pictures. Nothing In the vault if you take that tour.

Every one has a small perimeter that can't be passed but it's very close to most of the vehicles so getting a good picture is still not hard.
