I agree...I also book 6 months out....get up early and make sure im on reservation site when it hits 8am. I book in feb for camping in August.
You can pay at the gate, but you might only get in if there is a cancellation. Check at the kiosk around 8a.m. This place books out 6 months in advance. I sometimes set an alarm clock so I'm up and ready to reserve my spot on the day they are released. I book September space in March.
