Most snaps will work on vinyl, what kind of snap depends on application and personal preference. Doubling layers to strengthen the vinyl works well. If you want to take that one step further, use interfacing between the layers. It helps bolster the stress point, and adds volume for the snap setting to anchor better.
If you have a scrap of the vinyl you're using, bring it along. And you can always double up on material to reinforce the snap. Staff are friendly and between them and YouTube, you'll be OK 👍
Pretty much all the snaps should work for vinyl and leather, there's a few different sizes so just go there and choose the size you need
