I have always loved Tandy. I wasntbexpectingbto go shopping in a leather store today but I was driving my motorcycle and I spotted Tandy! I screech on the brakes, did a u-turn and went inside and guess what?! This is the biggest Tandy I've ever seen! Call me sheltered but its true! They have bins and bins and more bins full of merchandise. I had a great time looking and I spent almost $20 on stuff I needed. The staff must be the owners, I forgot to ask but the were so friendly I almost wanted to move in!

They don't carry it in store due to California regulations on chemicals. Also they're store has newly moved to Mirmar.

Most snaps will work on vinyl, what kind of snap depends on application and personal preference. Doubling layers to strengthen the vinyl works well. If you want to take that one step further, use interfacing between the layers. It helps bolster the stress point, and adds volume for the snap setting to anchor better.
No. However, if you speak with the employees that work there, they may know someone that can complete the repairs.
They supply leather goods and a vast array of knowledge on how to use them for fixing/creating purposes but theyre not a tailor so if you want to do it yourself then that would be the place to go.
