Do you ned 4WD to access the campground? Me and few buddies are in a ford focus, Hyundai sonata and a honda accord. Odd mix but we need our campin fix!

Not during dry conditions. Use Van Dusen canyon. Drive slow and avoid any big rocks or dips.
