Once they do a lens exchange do you now have floaters in your eyes like an 80 year old? Because I do and I'm only 50. Big mistake having Gordon work on my eyes.

RLE is refractive lens exchange - same as cataract surgery excluding the cataracts... I am 59 when i had RLE and happy w my results. I am also a 30+ yr veteran of RK surgery by Dr. G in 1987...

What do you mean by lens exchange? I just had a cataract removal and got a Symfony IOL. This was my 2nd surgery and I am VERY happy with the experience and result. There are always risks with eye surgery, and maybe because the alternative to surgery was blindness anyway. I remember being told having floaters was a risk of getting an IOL, and with the YAG I also had done my other eye, I would have tolerated worse results than the awesome outcome I had for both. I am really sorry your outcome was less than ideal.
