Date of service: 08JUN2022. Went in to for my eye exam and all went well. Dr. brought me to the eyeglass section to make a selection of frames and get my new glasses made up. The lady that assisted me (don't recall her name), her customer service was lacking . She was abrupt in demeanor and just seemed she just did not want to be there. Ok.. no problem. What really bothered me is that I had brought in my own two glasses that were ordered from that same office with the intent of re-using the frames. These were bought and made not more than 2 years ago and never been worn, so essentially they were still new, straight from the box. Having a new prescription, I wanted to reuse the frames for my new glasses to save on expenses. She looked at the frames and gave me a story that the action of the hinges were bad, the temples were worn, they were aged and one of the glasses temples could not be adjusted. I told her those were never used and were in perfectly good condition. So I caught her lying to me to make a sale. She backed off. Then she says that if I use those frames, if they break in the process of making my new glasses, it is at my expense. I failed to tell her that I had done this once before, using an old frame for a new pair and never was told this and never had any problems. I feel all this was just to make a sale. This put me all off.. she didn't make a sale. The Dr's are excellent and Ihave been using this facility for years. I will never use her services again. I honor truthfulness and integrity.

I have been seen by Dr. Bytompski for many years. She knows me and my history and I can get appointments in a timely manner (unlike my HMO which takes months to get an appointment and I am not really known because of the turnover in physicians). Carmel Mountain Vision Care has state of the art equipment and their exams are very thorough. I would recommend them highly.

The nicest people work here and they are very passionate about their work. The equipment is all state of the art. The process is very organized. I don’t even live in CA anymore but still see Dr. Reader for my eyes because he is so good.
