They are a surgery only clinic. They dont see appointments at all. You just drop your dog off in the morning for a dental cleaning, or mass removal, or whatever surgery, and then pick them back up at the end of the day. I'm a vet tech. Sounds like your dog may have arthritis or luxating patella or could have injured himself. I would recommend taking him to your regular vet... Unless you think he needs surgery on that leg? But I would get it evaluated first elsewhere before just taking him in to Helping Hands
I would also add that I don't think they take walk-ins. I think you need to know what the problem is, like a legit diagnosis from your vet, and then call them up to see how they can help. You will need to make an appointment and they may not have something available for a minute. No matter what, if you don't live in or near Richmond, call first and talk to someone there.
Is that Princeton we saw in 2014? We are so sorry he is having trouble. We are only set up to perform surgical & dental procedures. We definitely recommend having him seen by a full service veterinary practice to determine what the problem is. If it is something that requires surgery, you can definitely reach out to us to see if it is something we can help with. Also, we are no longer in Carytown. In the Fall of 2015 we moved to 1605 Rhoadmiller St (between the Richmond SPCA and Feedmore), off of Hermitage behind the Diamond. We are wishing you and Princeton the very best♥

I have a 7.75 year old Bichon mix. He needs his dew (?) Claws removed. How much would that cost?
