You should definitely let them know you had a problem. My meals have always been very good, very clean, and served at the proper temperature. Perhaps carrying it home with the hot chicken on it could have warmed up the entire salad. And a bug? Eeeww!! Let them know.

Any restaurant has problems, i myself if i saw a bettle in my daughters salad i would have freaked!!! Probably would ruin every dining experience for me, but i would have called them immediately their customer service is actually really good. Ive had bad service at rays deli in bandon but never wendys. Every window person is awesome from the times ive came. I would call them and make sure they are checking the salads they are all pre made so it was probably the warehouse not the restaurant.
Take the bug with you when you go tell them your story. I've never had a problem with their food.
