Very little to see without the guided tour.
There are some things you can look at on your own, but I believe if you want to go on the ship you must do the guided tour.

I think its only guided tour but. There was an option just for the musem so there might be a chance there will be without
I think that's guided only, you can't enter the museum without pay, only the gift shop place.
