They'll also make you toss out lighters now that they no longer have a smoking area.
Yes, but it'll be searched. they were fine with my wife having a small backpack too. I brought a multi tool that they didn't like because it had a 1" blade in it. They also won't hold items for you anymore, so be prepared to have to drop stuff off in your car or something if they don't like it.
