Yes the City Mission is great but many of us suffer from an addiction go to the hospital get warm contact New Choices at 302 State Street after 9 a.m. they will get you in a program warm friendly and safe take it from me Doug Kaminski been there done that I have1yr 4 months and 20 days today 1/16/18 remember this we ain't get where we are overnight it's going to take some time if you're willing it'll work God bless you love Doug
City Mission is a shelter for men but at first you have to go to local human services or other way called social services on Broadway at first place if you are in Schenectady for referral. You will be placed there if they have beds available at present. In case you got not luck, unfortunately you have to find a warm spot on your own in that kind of weather.

Adult protective will help you. You can go to the main desk at City Mission to get the after hours number if needed.
