Maybe she didn't have a choice about being away and not being able to take her dog. Maybe she left her dog with family that didn't do a good job taking care of him. Think of being in the hospital long term or being in jail. Jail is most likely since they put people in jail on just an accusation and then you have to prove yourself innocent. If you're not aware, our "justice" system is seriously broken and this girl is still trying to track down her pet. Good luck hun.
